We make comments and open discussions almost everyday in mylot. Is the grammar and spelling issue important for mylot? How could you check your writings on mylot in terms of spelling and grammar?

Firefox tends to really check a lot of the spelling. I am not as fussed about spelling and grammar as most however. If you post is mostly readable, then most of everything is okay. If it is unintelligible gibberish, with every other word spelled wrong, then there might be a little bit of the problem. However, if I can read what you are writing, your good. Let's face it, if bad spelling and grammar bothers you, I don't know how long you're going to be able to survive on the Internet. Or really in life. Plus perfect spelling and grammar is not how people really speak in real life to begin with. English doesn't make all that much sense if you follow every little rule but I'm certain that every other language doesn't make any sense, but since I don't speak it, I don't know. Again, if I can read you, it will be fine.

I think it doesn't matter if you made some mistakes in spelling. All of us can understand you. That's enough. In fact, English is not my native language. I never checked my writings when I post comments on mylot.

mylot promotes open discussion. for me, as long as the discussion is intelligible, then i have no problem with it. the content of the discussion is, for me, far way more important than the form of the discussion. even if a discussion is expressed in perfect english, if it does not elicit interest, then it won't have much responses.
