I've seen a segment on the Discovery Channel about the possible existence of a parallel universe. Physicists and scientists do believe that there are in fact more than one parallel universe co-existing with ours and that means that there can exist more than one of us. If so, does this mean that somewhere out there, there's a pretty, skinny, rich and smarter version of myself? Is that a probable reason why strangers I've never met before would come up to me and tell me that they've seen me somewhere before? Although these scientists think that it's highly unlikely that we'll meet another version of ourselves, the thought of meeting mine seemed pretty okay to me. I'd like to see what I'm like and if that version of me is happy in her state.

I find that very interesting to think about it. Granted, we have not evolved to the point scientifically speaking where we rather going to be able to prove and disprove it. And let's face it, somewhere in the world, there is might be someone who looks like us. It's a small world and a big one as well, there has to be someone. Granted, if we come face to face, the universe might collapse.
Of course, there are many possible alternate universes out there, different versions of us, shaped by both decisions we made and real world events happening. Along with the possibility of worlds where we might have never been born at all or had been born later or earlier. There could be an alternate version of me that could be a mustache twirling dictator bent on world domination or one who has brought about world peace and the end of suffering. Or any kind of things in between. Who really knows.

I think parallel universe may be possible, but as we belong to this universe it would be difficult to us to feel anything of a parallel universe. So, we can just enjoy such amazing imaginations. Thinking more about such a universe wouldn't bring anything good than improving one's power of imagination.

There are no concrete evidences if this is true. All of these are just theories and was not proven. But if this is true, then its quite interesting to know how is our life in the other universe. You're also right, there are just some places when we think that we already came across with even though we know that it is the first time we got there. And their are also people who we thought we know or they thought they know us. Many unexplainable scenarios and mystery still isn't solved.
