The habit 'GIVE' is a noble deed, as long as according to the time and condition when you did. Giving should not be large in size, which is important when do "give", your intention sincere.
Giving is also not necessarily in the form of goods / objects. "give" can also be done through informative writings or just congratulations, or even just to give and spend your time to listening laments your friends.

Giving is one way of sharing what we can share.
Not necessarily thru monetary form or material things.
Yes, giving time to spend with our friends, listen to someone who needs someone to talk with is a good way of sharing.
Sometimes listening to someone is worth than giving a penny.
