Okay So this is all about recycling gifts. :D Its christmas once again and honestly since we all know how hard life is.. I think it is just about right that we try to save as much as we can right? To be honest - would you recycle gifts and those you received that you have not used last year, or even this year... would you recycle them and give them away to your friends this christmas? have you done this before?
thanks! =)

I don't celebrate christmas but if talking about gifts yes we do recycle the gifts we have and give them to others. I believe that it is a very practical way plus we don't have to waste money to buy the new one. If we don't use the items and it for sure in a good condition then it is not wrong to give it to others as a present. So we will not end up to keep all unused things at home. This will require some space and we don't have any space left at home.(^^)(^^)

I agree, sometimes when we think that we do not need something.. then we would later on know that someone else does. I am not talking about trash here, but things that are not used and it was given to us and we can inturn give it to others... so as no things are left wasted... right?

Absolutely right. We always get free gift from others like plates, bags etc. They are all new but we actually have our own so we don't need that items anymore. So each time there is a celebration or someone's birthday we will use those items and wrapped them as gifts. If they don't like it they may recycle the gifts too.(^^)

I think that anything useful that we don't need, we should recycle, even it is a gift. But as Christmas gift, we must make sure it is still in perfect condition and the look presentable. I have not received many gifts so I don't have any to recycle. But things that I don't use I will usually pass to my family members who has a use for it or donate to the charities.

well, that is correct. when we need to recycle those that we are not using maybe this is actually the best time to do so. :D most of the time too, my mom would be getting the things she want for herself as well and then will just go over and the others and let me handle the remaining items i have with me.

Last year was one of those years where I got everything that I wanted. I think really if there was some things that I didn't want that I got, I would have thrown them out in the yearly garage sale and tried to make some money off of them, rather to try and re-gift them. That is just what would be on my mind and there have been some past Christmas's where I did, mostly somethings that I'll never use.
I don't think I would ever re-gift things for the simple reason as there are times where I don't remember who got me what a week later half of the time, not to mention almost a year later. And that would be rather embarrassing beyond all belief if I had accidentally given someone the same gift. Thankfully there are very few gifts that I got that really have been stinkers in recent years, so good on that front.

Guilty. I had received too many gifts and yes, I am recycling them. I always draw up a list between Christmas and New year. My inventory includes two notebooks full of names and gift descriptions. I never felt guilty recycling because I don't exactly have enough storage space and I personally, believe that it is always the thought that counts.
As for my friends, they're just too happy that they received something - as ling as they don't know who's the original sender. He he he

hello,
I did not do it because I dont have stuff that is available for give away for my friends. So, I buy a new one and I choose people that I give something because I dont have actually a budget. But maybe I will just try what you suggest that I have to recycle if it is not that old much and useful for others.
