that i'm in a mylot rut!!! anyway, i started a similar discussion a couple of months ago asking fellow mylotters advice on how they handle themselves when they get into a mylot rut. i asked what steps they take to get out of their 'slump' so they can start posting again in the site whether it be answering in other people's discussions or starting their own. well, i have been very busy with work and some off-line stuff that i haven't had any time to log in to mylot so going back to posting responses and starting discussions is awkward to say the least. it doesn't help that the mylot notifications i have don't tickle my fancy so i'm like lost in a mylot maze!!! anyway, i figure the best way to start getting back into my mylot groove is to start looking at my interests and try to start discussions hence, i've typed this one out. lol! so to recap, to get out of my mylot rut, i' starting discussions on my own in my fields of interest rather than simply responding to discussions started by others. so my fellow mylotters, how do you get out of your mylot rut? discuss.

As she look over the inexpensive items her face became sullen. In the background she heard the two talking, she is one of those people with the mylot slump. What is the mylot slump the other asked. Oh it is a internet program that well ... slumps people. You had me afraid there for a while alien until I understood what you meant. Yeah, you can get turned off from contributing and yeah, it does have to do with our interests. I agree so much with you. It is all about what interests us, right on! Not on this web site but another web site, that I used a ways back in time, this guy came online to say he used computers at work and was not interested in them and of course that was all he had to say and a group of us (3) were talking about computers. Go figure!

I have ever been inactive for nearly a year. What did I do first when to come back here on mylot was to read the FAQ again and made sure that the rules and regulations were well understood by. So, I went to my interest doing see over a bit before I wen to start making my own post and respond in some friend's discussion. I haven't been so sure when I firstly came or joined in mylot that mylot was a pay site and would pay its member by doing participation or by any forms of activities. I just like coming back here and doing myot everyday.

hi sijabatnaburjut! that is indeed a good suggestion. for sure reading and updating oneself with the mylot FAQs will be beneficial for everyone. i'll definitely allot sometime in reading the FAQs so that i don't break any mylot rules. not that i would do it on purpose but sometimes i've foudn myself responding to discussions i shouldn't ahve and that has resulted in loss earnings on my part. it kinda defeats the purpose of being in mylot. lol! anyway, about your other point, mylot is indeed a paying site. been paid by mylot before and rest assured that all your hard work will not go to waste and you'll be seeing funds in your paypal account when you do hit the minimum payout amount come month-end. cheers!!!

I have been the same like you. I just came back to mylot after a few months not being active here. But I just gathered all my thoughts of what I really wanted to post before but was not able to. So there! Right back on track again. Started a discussion or two and respond to some topics.

hi aaronfyzeon! good for you if you're able to get back on track and start discussions and start replying to other ones. been hard for me to get back to the thick of things. got tons of notifications but nothing really drove me to reply to any of the discussions. ended up deleting all the notifications as i didn't want to go through everything. lol! anyway, good luck to us comebacking mylotters! cheers!!!

My experinece is good about mylot i might spend even 10 min post 1 reply but i login each day. many time i might miss but i didn't let it more than 2-3 days. I used to come to mylot everyday without break unless i have some very important task. If i am on holidays then i spend alots of hours here and when i had my works i just fews hours or 10-20 mins. The longest duration of my discussion posting is of 10-12 days but i didn't feel awkward all was just normal but it was little problem where to start from. In that case i use crciket as it easy to go ther and post.

hi rajeev075! i used to be always logged in mylot. right now though, i've been really busy at work plus i got a lot of offline stuff that are really important so mylot is taking a backseat. hopefully, by 2012, if the world doesn't come to an end, i'll manage to log in daily at mylot. i'm planning to start at least two discussions and reply to as many as ten discussions everyday at mylot. not really wishful thinking. i think for a good stretch this year i was able to do that. just really need to stay disciplined and practice good time management to accomplish this task. anyway, for the remainder of the year, i'll just try to get back into the groove of things and ensure that i'm replying back to all those that replied to my discussions. i figured it should help me be more comfortable typing responses in mylot plus i only need to play off what the previous mylotter just posted so it should be easier. anyway, thanks for participating and sharing your thoughts. cheers!!!

A couple of months ago I joined mylot. I had no Idea why I joined and the only thing I had in mind is to earn. So I took a rest and didn't log in in my mylot account because I feel like I don't have anything to say yet. I gave myself another chance to try this site again and so I am back. I am happy because I am improving everyday.

I'm new to mylot. When in a mylot rut, I just start any discussion I can think of as a start, wait for other people to reply then respond to them. Search through the popular discussions. Everything is going to be fine.

hi aja103654! before going into the discussion, just wanted to ask how'd you get the handle name? really curious about the numbers in your mylot name. i figured it was a date or something but it just doesn't add up. no big deal really, just me being curious that's all. going back to the discussion at hand, yeah, i agree with you 100%. starting a discussion is a sure way to get out of a mylot rut. going through the popular discussions is a good way as well but i've mentioned that i wasn't really interested with the notifications that i've received. anyway, i guess coming back to mylot entails more patience since i've been away from the site for an extended time. thanks for your insights and hope to see you more in the mylot boards. cheers!!!
