Looking forward to a fortnight of holidays

hi, that's a great news. wishing you great holidays. For me, there is some new stuffs coming up and I look forward to get associated with new projects, new people and new team in the same work place. Seems to be interesting but as always the ifs and buts do follow. Just being positive and looking forward to learning strategical planning and branding as well.. wish me luck dear..

Good evening mayka123, I did manage to take off from work the friday before christmas and the monday after so I drove out to winnipeg to spend christmas with my family. It is a 13 hour drive each way so that took care of friday and monday so I had saturday and sunday to spend with them. Not really a holiday as not much sleeping or relaxing involved but nice just the same. I will be taking off a week in May to go to Las Vegas and then a week in August to go to winnipeg again but those times are filled in with no rest so I need to take a week off and stay home and just relax. But then I am no longer working on Mondays so I have a long weekend every weekend now so I have lots of time to rest every weekend. Cheers and TTYL my friend , Chris

Well, I finished all of my assignments for my work yesterday and I have nothing scheduled now until next year. At first I was dismayed that there was not any work available for next week, but after giving it some thought I decided I could put this time to good use. I have been trying to get my house cleaned and get everything in place ever since I moved in here. Since I am quite the pack rat I have stuff boxed up and stacked all over the place. I have finally come to the realization that as long as the stuff is here in the house I will never get my house clean. So, since I am paying for a storage room I am going to just move everything to storage and clean the house. Since the stuff is in boxes and has been for some time it is obvious that I don't really need it. After I get the house cleaned up I will start sorting through the stuff in storage. I keep the storage unit to have yard sales out of and I have an idea most everything I have can either be sold or tossed out as I really don't need all that stuff.

So glad to hear you got some time off. The people at the company I work for are off until January 3rd now. Their last day was yesterday. I will have to go back in on the 28th to do our physical inventory. Several people in my department will be there. We will do that for three days and then have a four day weekend for the 1st. I plan on doing a whole lot of nothing while I am off. Just relaxing and getting ready for the New Year.
