Affiliate Marketing?

I heard that we can earn through affiliate marketing. What is affiliate marketing? How can we earn through this? What are those sites which offer this job? Is it a hard task? Had you tried this before? Could you share your experience in relation to it?

A simple overview of the affiliate is to make others people products were sold and we get a commission. As a good seller, we are required to know what the benefits are obtained by the buyer.
It will be hard if you don't have niche traffic, and don't know the way to promote.
