What is the best end of the world movies

Around 2009 there is movie 'Knowing' starring by Nicolas Cage The story begins when a teacher opens a time capsule that has been dug up at elementary school yard, in it are some chilling predictions - some that have already occurred and others that are about to. I saw this movie twice, I like the special effects used in this movies whereby when the world was destroyed by solar storms. I definitely recommend this movie-you will be pleasantly surprised.

End of Days, Its an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie around year 2000. I think its released in 1999. remember in 1999 people are afraid that year 2000 is the end of the world.The producer of this movie, takes advantage of all that apocalypse scare people are going through then. so yeah this is a good end of the world movie with religious overtones. The world didnt ending year 2000 for sure but its a good movie.
