I find as I am now 64 there is more pleasure in seeing the joy on the face of my grandchildren and feel rather awkward when it is my turn to open presents bought for me.
One present I made it known I would be happy with was a electric grooming tool, one of those things to trim the hairs that hang out of your ears and nose that happens as you age.
This was duly bought for me, I could not wait to use it, really fantastic and so easy to use. No more scissors, what lovely present for a daughter to buy her dad, thanks love.

I received a fountain pen that can shoot laser beam from it at the same time function as a pen. A really cool Christmas present from my friend and the only one i got from this holiday. Time is tough for all my friends, everyone just struggling hard to get by daily and survive in this poor economy environment.

I got a myriad of things this Christmas. I received mostly chocolate, some foodstuff and candies, a bit of cookies and a few greeting cards. Although I didn't receive much, but I feel very happy and contented this Christmas because the love and care I received from the people around me meant so much more to me than physical and tangible presents. And I reckon that is what Christmas is all about, to share the love and time with others that matter to us.......
