So I found good deal on Charm Pak - 5" squares for quilting..pre cut! 100 squares for $20. Nice colors. Problem is...it could be 100 of different colors! They all just match and could be 100 different colors or maybe a few matching one, but safe to say...more different than alike colors/patterns. So..I know you can use them if you make a scrap quilt, and I know they would be good for appliqueing onto quilt squares/blocks. however,.,, Other than that...what are they good for? I don't like to much the scrap quilt as I like the pattern and picture in a quilt. I do applique, but not so much to have 100 of those pieces around. Plus, shipping is $5 for them. So..any ideas what else to do with them. What other type of quilt can you make? I know you could cut them in half and quarters for smaller squares to have more matching squares, but I don't do that small! 3 inch is smallest I will go. And You can't get 3 inchers out of them more than just one. With 1/4 inch seam allowance, you can cut them to 2,1/4 squares and have a few more matching squares, but ... Any suggestions?

I guess you could make things like pot holders from them, maybe even using some applique on top of the squares that you can use to make the pot holders.

Yeah, they'd be good for that, but I am wanting to do quilts. I'm kind of like..quilts or nothing phase!
