I always loved to join party and seeing fireworks and enjoy every moment there including the countdown moment. However, I observed the moment after those countdown, usually the road will be crowded with motorcycle and cars who doing parade around the town. That was really scary and we found many accident happen during that night.. That was the reason, me and friends and family decided to going home early. As soon as the countdown party finished then we usually escape from the crowds and going back home early. That was to avoid the risk of accident on the road..I think the risk higher if we stay there any longer.. How about you? Have you got this kind of experience? What you usually do during new years eve?

I usually stay at home on New Year's Eve. The celebration happens at midnight and I have young children in bed asleep at that time. There is a zero chance of having a baby sitter on New Year's Eve. On the night 31 December 1999 and 1 January 2000 I went to London with some friends. The streets were very crowded with people everywhere. There was standing room only later in the evening and I felt someone leaning on my backpack. It was amazing to see all the fireworks. Wow! Walking back to the station in the early hours of the morning there was much broken glass on the ground. Police had put up extra railings which had to be climbed over. I took the train back to my sister's flat. I like to go out to fireworks on 5 November for Guy Fawkes night. I always take my kids out to see it. Last year we went and saw fireworks from the pier. It was spectacular to see fireworks by the sea. The year before last we saw fireworks from a children's play farm. It was a rainy evening. Last year we also saw fireworks at the secondary school and we stood right at the front. I parked outside the library to go to the pier fireworks.

I know that, here, good for nothing guys would get into their cars and bikes and would drive at full speed shouting and cheering stuff. I know enjoyment, but there's a thin line which they cross. And most of the times, they'd be drunk too.
