when My cat and dog were still alive I remember them being scared every newyears eve because of the noises from the fireworks, firecrackers and all random noises, the pollution from those explosives also makes them uncomfortable. the pets I have now are fishes and an iguana, I dont think my fishes will give a damn, they wont hear noise from the tank I think.
My iguana is roaming freely around my house but put her in an empty aquarium now and placed it inside the bathroom cos its sound proof. I felt bad for my Iguana cos she is not the type who lives in a cage, she loves roaming around my apartment. Have you secured your pets now?

My late old dog are scared of fireworks, so he follows me everywhere I go and he's shakin' all the time. He sleeps under the bed and I hug him to make him secure and relax. Today my late dog's offspring is not afraid of fireworks but instead he barks, he hates it. I don't make anything special to console him but the things that I always do to comfort him. He also sleeps under the bed. The cat just stay in the house, since we don't pet them as much as our dog. I leave the mommy hamster at the big aquarium together with her offsprings. The other four hamster was placed in a small hamster cafe I bought and cover with garments by my sister in law. They all survived the fireworks.

I am glad your hamsters were not disturbed, when they got disturbed they eat their babies. my hamster did that after my hearing noises from a disfunctional couple from next condo unit.

Our dog had headed in our backyard through our old barn. There, they felt a little bit calmer than bringing them inside the house. We have 17 dogs and when they feel severely afflicted with blaring sounds and exploding noise, they tend to become crazy and often hurting themselves in frantic efforts to flee the souce of their fear.

This is a very relevant question. I wanted to ask this because I know that a lot of dogs will be hurt and lost during the crazy revelry. That is why I hate explosions or fireworks on New year's eve. One time I almost lost my dog who dug the ground so deep he could no longer get out the day after. I had to get some people to dig him out. I wish people don't have that much money to buy so many fireworks that harm everyone.

I was hoping that tonight it will rain (but not a destructive storm) so all of those fireworks will be wet. I dont have a dog or a cat anymore but my iguana is a but of a coward too.
