To speak or not to speak that is the question?

It seems pointless to me to have a cellphone with only data service I mean there called cellphones it's a phone made originally for making voice to voice phone calls. think about it what if you need to call 911? your not gonna have time to type a text for help in a real emergency LOL no you see data only plans don't seem very sensible in my opinion, sure those plans can be a lot cheaper then voice and data services but personally I like being able to hear my friends and loved ones voices Also what if one of your friends don't have texting or data plan, and they can only make regular phone calls or one of your friends can't text very good? LOL I'm sorry but having data included with standard phone services is nice but no to data only for me, I want to make real voice calls I mean I wanna be able to SPEAK to my friends and family not just text, and facebook chat haha. What are your thoughts on data only plans?

that's what I thought too. I never buy cell phone. unless I have to travel a lot, I don't care about spending more on it

I like to talk too. I have text and I use it alot but there are some things that I just prefer to say. My daughter could live on text alone but not me. I am more of a talker than I am a texter.

Phones that have only texting option is an absolute waste because you just can't keep sending sms to your boss or chat with him on yahoo . I would suggest that you buy a standard phone that can do everything and just connect it to wifi so that you don't have to pay for data charges . But making a call is any day better than texting
