well we just removed the office Christmas tree and the space where it was is now bare and empty. It looks lonely now.. How time flies fast!
Well, oh well..time flies fast and in a matter of months it will be december again right? lol that is me being optimistic.
Things are back to normal right now.

When I was younger December was my favorite month, I always wished every month was December. It's like this month brings with it the joyous seasons' infection. Everybody seem to be in a light mood, and the feeling of celebration is in the air. Festive lights all around, people being busy, this time not for themselves but for others, smiles and greetings all around, and everything just seem right. now, I wish I still feel that way come December. I guess I just lost too much positivity, yet wouldn't it be better if everyday would feel that way for the whole year?

Like you, December was my favourite month, (it still is by the way), for the reasons you have described. Although I can no longer be described as a young man you never age in your mind and I still enjoy the magic of Christmas and December.

yes it won't be long before the tree is going back up, time is going so fast, I wish we could slow things down a bit.

Yeah, time really does go by. Christmas, we're all excited...all excited...got the tree up...open the presents...have fun with family...wait over already? Wow that was quick, well time to take the tree down. Thankfully that area in the room normally has a rocking chair right there, so all we have to do is really move that back over and we're good to go.
Still it is funny, all of that joy, all of that build up, all of the Christmas spirit for something that will be over in a matter of hours. Perhaps it may take slightly longer to put on the tree than to actually celebrate the holiday if you're like me and have a lot of ornaments and decorations. Still the season will be here before too long once again.

Yes, time flies so fast. Maybe this is so, because we are all agog in making our daily living.
So much so, that when December comes we are so excited because not only does it bring happiness to all people but it becomes a vacation to employed people.
Now, i am looking forward to the Holy Week, a really longer hiatus from work.

Hi jazel_juan, Happy New Year to you. Yes, certainly the lounge looks quite bare when you have taken all of the Christmas decorations down, (providing you put them up in the first place!). We didn't have a Christmas tree this year. I do find regarding the swiftness of time passing that this phenomenon seems to accelerate the older you become! Let's all look forward to the new year and may it be a happy and successful one for us all.

Yes jaz, time really flies very quickly, doesn`t it? Life has become so fast paced that before you can say Jack Robbins the day has turned into night and the months have flown by and there you have Xmas once again. Its also a grim reminder that life is also ebbing fast and every day, week, month and year that has gone by you are closer to saying goodbye to this life and go into the great unknown. So live by day to day and enjoy every moment because you never know when you will get the call.

You can always put something else where the tree was, to liven things up a bit. I don't know if people still do this, but a few years ago, I knew someone who had an artificial Christmas tree. And she would decorate it for every major holiday. Like she would have Christmas ornaments for Christmas, hearts & stuff for Valentine's Day, bunnies & chickies for Easter, etc. It was a really cute idea & it livened up the whole livingroom. :)
