I have read about sonnet #29. It has two parts, the first part is about lamenting while the second is friendship. :) My favorite lines: "For thy sweet love rememb'red such wealth brings Than then I scorn to change my state with kings." - It's like telling us "Now that he remembered a friend, why be hopeless." He would not exchange his friends because friends are wealth. ^__^

Yes I have and also his plays. His writings are very difficult to read because of the arcaeic manner in which it is written. His Romeo and Juliette has been portrayed in many modern versions....perhaps the most well known is West Side Story. His Taming of the Shrew was made into a musical called Kiss Me Kate and Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor made a movie of the same play. My favorite sonnet is "Who is Sylvia, what is she that all the swains commend her....". That's cuz my name is Sylvia.
