I have this winter ritual since the last year, I shave off my head and let my hair grow from the start. Not many people understand why I do this. For me, it signifies a new, fresh start on life. Also, I want completely without hair when I went to college, it was small and noticeable. Some of my friends liked it, some thought I was crazy to have done this. I don't really care about what people think of me and what reputation I get. As long as I am okay with it, I shouldn't care, right?

Do it, but don't do it in winter. I did it because hair grows longer and faster in winter but I caught cold!!!

Wow Kaleb, that's a really sweet gesture. I saw this on a show that a kid shaves his head off as his friend had to do it who had cancer. Way to go, Baldies Union!!!!

Ha-ha. And I thought I was the only one who had done that. I did that twice already. It's not actually a regular ritual. I do that at the start of the year if the past year wasn't that good for me. Like you said, it's kind of a fresh start. But we're a tropical country and it's a little warm and humid here so shaving one's head bald isn't that quite unusual :)

It is not a ritual for me too, but I've been doing this since the last year so I said it was. My past few years haven't been the best, and for a reason I know that the coming years won't be too. So, I did it. By the way, it is too cold here, and it's killing me!!!

Don't be bothered by what other people will say about you. They can't dictate you on what to do or this is the right thing. If that is your style, I respect you. There is nothing wrong to that. I also do something for myself as part of change and I don't let other people to intrude.

Hehe, if I cared, I wouldn't have done it right? By the way, it is not my style, I'm just experimenting. But I am planning on continuing with it once I start growing a complete beard.
