When I got her, I could hold two like her in my hand. I was 15. Now I am 28 and she passed away. She was very ill and was suffering, so maybe it's better this way. She was a seal point Thai cat and we all loved her. She didn't like cuddles much, but liked to stay near us, watching TV on the sofa, or lying on bed. She didn't usually purr, only when she was alone at home and someone came, although she wasn't a very affectionate cat she didn't like to be alone. I saw her for last time one year ago when I went to visit my parents (I am living far away) she was fine by then... but then one day they told me she had a lump on her tummy and the vet said the tumor was extended so they couldn't do nothing, most prolly she'd die in the operation. So they took care of her as best as they could. One day they stopped talking about her, so I knew something bad had happened. I asked them why they stopped talking about her, and my mum told me she was gone... I was expecting the worse so it didn't take me as surprise. It hurts me I couldn't give her a last goodbye, I came to my house when I could and found out that my parents adopted two cats from the pound that were brothers, and another one that they found in the street on a rainy day. One has ivory white fur with two grey dots in the face, he is called Edward. His brother is called Alphonse and is black and white. The other is called Jackie Lee and is bright white with yellow eyes. They are still kittens and are adorable, but very naughty. I thank my parents for rescuing them from a miserable life.

Your parents are really good people with very good heart.Good for them to rescue these kittens. I am so sorry about your cat.I can imagine your sorrow because i have a cat too and when this time comes i do not know if i can handle to loose him. For me it will be like loosing a parent or a very beloved person because i am very much attached to him. Anyway, it is good to have these little creatures playing around. They might give you and your parents comfort and hapiness with their arrival.

I'm sorry that you lost Mona, but the time comes for all of us to lose pets, they live short lives but honestly they don't realize that they only live a short time, they only know if they are safe and happy or not safe and miserable. I'm glad to hear that your folks have rescued 3 more in her place to be also safe and happy.
