Hi, mylot friends, I joined Expertscolumn not long ago, and when I tried to publish an article about introduction of scene spots in China, when I was selecting the category for my article, I was a little at lost.
There are the lists of category you can choose for your articles:
Automobiles, Arts & entertainment, Atlas, Business, Cool stuff, Education, Health & Fitness, History, Lifestyle, New& Reviews, Poetry, Recipes, Religion, Science, Society & Issues, Sports, Technology, Video Games.
Among these categories, I didn’t find any category suitable for my article. By the way, I am not sure about the meaning of “Atlas”,when I looked it up in the dictionary, I found it meant” collections of maps”. My question is : should I put articles about travel into the category of “atlas”.
And how about articles about health, what category should we put them in?
English is not my native language, sorry if I ask some silly questions. And I will be appreciated for your help if you can give me some advice.

I also have some difficult time deciding on where to put some of my articles. I wish it was more specific so that it would be easy to know where to publish our articles.

I think the categories in Expertscolumn are not as clear as those in other websites. Maybe it divides the categories in a rough way. Which makes it harder to put our articles in a right category.

Yes, I would put your article on China's scenic spots in Atlas. Health articles can go in the Health & Fitness category.
When in doubt, aprilsong, you can always see what articles are already published in each category. That should help you to decide the appropriate category. For example, if there is other travel content under Atlas, than you can put your travel articles there.
Some of the categories do seem rather vague, and even for someone whose native language IS English, it can be confusing.
