spent lunch break time alone

I always spare one day to go eat out lunch alone without my friends. It is when I have schedule to pay my utility bills during lunch break. So I prefer to go out alone without my friends. I usually eat lunch at small restaurant when its comfortable for eating alone as long as the taste is also good for sure. I usually eating while read magazine or newspaper provided by those small cafe or restaurant. I am trying to avoid places that my work mates possible to visit, I just want to spent time alone after eat lunch together with my lunch buddy every day..How about you? Have you had this kind of ritual to spend time alone without friends?
