Chinese new year is quite approaching that we have manage to present a majestic dragon
dance in the City of Manila with amazing firecrackers just to celebrate the Chinese new year. This is done every year here for the occasion yet the government declare it a non working holiday so that everybody could celebrate the festivity. You can also observe that there are many figures of good fortunes like amulets and figurines of lucky charms are displayed with in Chinese stores and even in the sidewalk merchants have their own versions of lucky charms, bracelets, necklaces made from jade and other metallic elements to attract good fortunes to possible buyers. They also cater sticky foods stuffs that are sweet because it is said it could attract good karma to the one who consumes it during the occasion. It could attract all sorts of people including arriving tourist who happens to visit the city when the festivity was celebrated.Happy Chinese New Year to you all people out there.Cheers!!!!!!

We have a street here in Melbourne Australia that is called Chinatown and every year they celebrate the new year, they have a huge dragon they bring out every year, when I was a little girl they used to say it was the biggest dragon, a very colourful celebration.
