Will you check the emails which are already filtered to the junk folder?

I hardly will check the emails which are already filtered to the junk folder. As I think most of them are spams and I don't want to waste my time to check it one by one.

I do skim through them. Have had afew contacts go there occasionally so I just check to be sure. You just never know. You don't have to check it one by one, just skim through to be sure. And if I don't I wait to trash my trash until I am sure. I would hate to miss something.

hi youless! i hardly check the emails that are already filtered to my junk folder because just like you, i believe that most are spams and i have also been warned by my husband that there are some emails that may seem that they come from friends but in reality some are emails that have virus embedded in them. That is also why, i really don't open them and goes directly to the trash. take care and enjoy life! lovelots..faith210

Hi!, I will just glance through the title of the e-mail that inside the junk folder. I will not waste my time to look at each of them, unless I found that a mail is wrongly went into the junk folder. And I will just delete them daily.

And yes, I do always check the junk folder. You never know what accidentally gets filtered into there. Could be an important email for all you know!

I will check the filtered mail once a weak. It may be possible to miss any important mail in that. Due to that reason i just check once in a weak. Always keep email daily and check it when you are free. The email may be simpler your data transmission, invitation, notification from college and office etc. Its better to arrange your mail in proper manner with providing label name.

I only do if I think there was something that should not have gone there. Something I am expecting like a security verification or something. My husband checks his a lot more often. I guess we are just different. Mostly, I figure if they have already filtered out, I do not need to waste my time.

If you can check the junk folder often, at least it is less tiring rather than check it for pages.

Garden, for safety, it is always better to scan through the title of those emails in the junk folder before you decide to delete any of them. It will save you a lot of trouble in future, in case any of your important emails do filtered into this junk folder. I ever came across a few times that some of my important emails being sent into that junk folder...

I do check them...but it is after there are a couple of pages of them. I don't open them but I do glance over them to make sure nothing important has accidentally been sent there.

Then perhaps you need to check it more often because it is so tiring to glance it for pages.

Youless, i will preferto check those emails in the junk folder as well before i deleted them. Because i ever discovered some of Mylot discussions being filtered and dump into the junk folder. I am not sure why it was dumped into that junk folder. From that day onwards, i prefer to be careful and will still continue to check that junk folder for some important emails, before i deleted them off from the junk folder. Happy Chinese new year to you, as it is only a few days to go now...

If you set Mylot emails to be the safe list, then they will not be filtered to the junk folder. It is very kind of you My Chinese New Year vacation starts tomorrow

I don't read each email. I do look at the subjects and the senders though. It's happened numerous times where I have found valid emails in my junk/spam folder. I would never delete all of the emails in the spam folder without checking because sometimes it's impossible to get them back and I'd hate to delete a legitimate email.
