we put a down payment on her cap/gown and invitations. good news she received a senior tshirt, a backpack, her memory book and a heart shaped necklace. she picked out a pretty class ring design and one that's not going to break the bank either. woo hoo!! now to get these items paid off and get her senior pics done. to think i get to do it all again next year with my son.

Wow! You will have a soon graduated daughter (I supposed it's your daughter you're reffering for)! And another son to come next year.
I'm excited for that time to come to my kids though they are just 10, 4 and 2 years old. I have too long years with increasing tuition fees to give and wait for them to graduate *sigh... and the no ending support in all is a must.
You're the one who should be congratulated.
Congratulation angelwithkids!

yes, it's my daughter. enjoy every moment with your babies. time flies too quickly. if you go to upromise.com, they help out with ways to save for tuition. of course, i've always encouraged my kids to do well in school and so they can apply for scholarships. i've always stayed in communication with the teachers and made my kids be responsible for their actions. now, we'll find out in apr/may whether my daughter gets a scholarship to the university 6 hours away from home. :) :'(

I wish a favorable result in April or May with you angelwithkids!
6 hours away from home is quite far! Well, she can rent a place near in the university for a more convenient studying time for her. Oh I can't imagine my daughter to be far and away from us when she's into college (in the future) *sigh!
Anyway, that's part of spreading our kids wings and for them to start to learn some independent living, planning and decision making. We'll be here to support and guide them!
Time fly really fast, right angelwithkids?!

Having a graduating kid is very costly but just always think that graduation is the just showing that they are leveling up and they are ready for there next stage of life. Graduation is the start of there new journey. Me, i will graduate this month in college and i still don't have any idea what job can a get after graduation because it is really hard to find job here but i will do my best to find a good job.
