Am I out of touch with the real world?

Yesterday, I tried to mail a letter to a local office through certified mail, which I thought it gonna be $5.00 or little bit more, but it was actually gone up to $6.00 and more. At night, I stop at a gas station, and I just saw the sign of mega million and power ball lotteries has big reward on the jackpot. So, I took out 2 dollars, which I thought should be enough for 2 ticket for each game. When I ready to pay for them, the Indian dude look at me with wide eyes, and he told me that I short 1 dollar. I said what, I thought one dollar for each, he told me that power ball ticket is sold for $2 now. Oh, I didn't know it. Gosh, Am I out of touch with the real world now?

I also think that you are not out of touch of the real world and your involvement of the virtual one is not a problem. I work online too but I also take care about everything at my home. So today I went to pay the bill for the water and I couldn't believe when I heard what they wanted from me. The real world is changing rapidly and it is not always for good.

No, you're not out of touch with the world. You just did not know the changes. But I think it is more the other way around, I think the world is out of touch with all of us.

I think you ve been too tied up with online world so that you can't keep track on the current situation. But that's normal, bro. When you are so absorbed in something, you are ignorant of outside world.

I guess we are all, out of touch in our real world, we enjoy much of the virtual world and it actually taken our whole interest, so we aren't much aware of what are really happening, and the updates of the real world seems too difficult to understand.
