Strange coincidences

This is a story that happened some years ago when my ex-boyfriend and I were still together. We were going to visit Copenhagen together and the day before we left my ex-boyfriend tried to call his friend many, many times. He knew that his friend really needed to borrow some money and he wanted to help his friend, but he was unable to get in touch with him no matter how many times he tried. The next day we were leaving for Copenhagen. We went to the platform and when the train arrived we picked one of the doors and waited for the passengers to leave the train. The first person who stepped out of the train was my ex-boyfriend's friend! My ex-boyfriend quickly gave him the money and then we left for Copenhagen. I think that was a very strange coincidence. We didn't just pick the right date and the right train (there were 2 trains per hour) we also picked the exact door. Which strange coincidences have you experienced?
