Playing Politics in Professional life !!

this is a issue that i have heard many professional talking about. in today's competitive world where there exist "cut throat" competition, people are indulging more and more in dirty politics to stay ahead of their counterparts . do you believe that its justified to indulge yourself in such games and politics in the greed of achieving something or to raise in the eyes of your superior?? well in my country this has become hectic issues of everyday life as people believe that to make your position prominent you need to know the tactics for "survival of the fittest" !! i can not completely deny what they say nor can i completely support what they say. but its true that you want it or not there will some point of time in your profession life that you need to deal with politics or was intentionally dragged into it. i would love to hear from you friends regarding your views.
