Todays was GREAT!!!! Deacon ID's the "other suspect" in the park as Patty, well he tells Paul that the picture Paul shows him is the woman, and it is a picture of Patty. Cane finds out the FMN is his mothers company and that she bought Beauty of Nature when she knew Jack wanted it so bad and did it behind his back. She had to tell Victor that she owned FMN and then Victor told Niki and then Niki went over and told Jack (thinking he already knew). When confronting his mother about it, Genevive yells at Cane to get out and don't bother coming to her wedding.
Meanwhile Patty gets surprised by Adam in the garden shed, where she has a gun (where'd she get that anyway?) and they struggle and she tosses some liquid in his face that burns his eyes making him blind and then wacks him on the head with a shovel and he is out...only of course, to be found later by Sharon when he tells her he can't see anything.
Then, as Genevive sends a messenger to Jack saying she owns BofN and can't marry him, Patty over hears this and corners the messenger at the church door, wacks him, texts on his phone to GEneive that package has been delievered...puts on Gen's dress and when everyone in the church is starting to wonder where the bride is (while Jack is fuming to find out the truth about what she did) in walks a bride...fully whitea nd when she gets to the alter, Jack pulls her veil back, and see's whom he thinks is Emily, and says "Emily?". Patty says "No, Jack..not Emily...Patty!" and pulls the gun from the folds of the wedding dress and shots him point blank in the (probably) stomach area and he falls.
Previews show her later snagging Abby and taking her as hostage.
Wow...best episode I've seen in a long time on ANY soap!!! Can't wait till tomorrow, but of course I wont' be here!!! DVR time!!!

This is like the old Y&R stories, it has everything, corporate takeovers, someone's life in the balance and a villain hiding in the shadows. The stories scream drama and mayhem.
It has been a while since Jack had a story all his own, I doubt he will leave - if Peter Bergman was leaving it would have leaked out by now - but it is going to be a complicated story. Genevieve will feel terrible for leaving Jack at the alter and helping his shooter - Patty.
I noticed something though, Emily came back and realized Patty was back, because Tucker mentioned how they had talked to her. Shouldn't she have called Paul immediately. If it had not been for Deacon and the line about the cats Paul would never know that Patty was back.
Another thing, Adam blind again, really. The first time he was going blind because of illness now because of injury and Sharon will stand by him. Now if Nick goes after Sharon for custody of Faith because she is with Adam, they can always claim that he is heartless going after an invalid. A long while back I read an interview, in which they said that over the following year they were going to redeem Adam, is this the beginning of that story? How to you redeem as Patty so eloquently put it 'Evil'?

There is something bigger about that wedding, and it involves Adam. I wonder this is just a theory if Sharon does not go for the annulment but rather the divorce so she can force Victor to help Adam, because we know what everyone thinks of Adam (well except for Sharon weirdly) so Adam ends up destitute - because Victor throws him out, Tucker has no use for him and the rest well so she forces her hand. I could really see that happening after her never leaving his side.
In a world were I was one of the writers of Y&R I would give Sharon some backbone and having Adam at my mercy, make him suffer - I know I know I should be above such pettiness, but it is Adam the perfect villain, when you think he can't do any worse, he outdoes himself. The Diane Victor proposed murder cover-up plot just so he could get the company that is Evil 101, so the only one he trust turning on him, perfect.

Thing is leeloo...Victor has done so many rotten things to others..just like Adam has....look what he did to his own daughter Victoria just cause she loves someone he doesn't like! And he never has to pay for his crimes.
But yeah, you are probably right about the annullment...she will tell him to make up with Adam or she wont' sign. He did today, tho...in secret...call Adan's doctor and tel him to bring along another specific specialist and to not mention it came from Victor so I guess he has some heart.
And when I heard yesterday they say that the bullett was lodged near Jack's spine..you KNOW that means EVERY SINGLE TIME that the person will be paralyzed and in a wheelchair for some time. But of course, after awhile he will walk again.
I hope Genevive tells him she bought BofN and then gives it to him and then leaves town!!! What a sneak....he showed her is bid so she knew how high to place here...isn't that against the SCC or something like that?!?!??!?!?

Yeah, give Jack something worthwhile! All he has been doing lately is jumping from wife to wife. Sharon, Phyliss, Emily, now Genevive. He got Jabot back...now make him back to his old self where he rant he company etc! He'd better not leave...no one for Victor to fight with! I don't think he could fight well with Tucker...he has nothing over Tucker and Tucker is pretty bad himself!
I think the emily phone call thing is just a coinsidenl kind of thing...they can only show so much at the same time. They will have her call. Prob happened today, i missed it and have to wait till toinight on SoapNet.
Adam blind again? Yeah,you know Sharon is going to go back to him. And at first she'll let Nick have custody. If she was any kind of mother she'd just go to him and say..."Im helping Adam. You take care of Faith and I'll come see her when I can/am allowed" instead of making him take her to court. But if she does go back to Adam...Victor isn't going to help her get custody like he did before. Maybe they will turn Adam good!
And did you notice yesterday... Victor takes Sharon the annulment papers and she says "I'll sign them as soon as I can look over them"....What??? What's to look over! Is she doing her usual "marry the guy, then take his money" thing? She has tolook it over to make sure he is giving her plenty of money so she doesn't have to work another day in her life? So she has money from Jack, Victor and Nick? Guess she's got it made! Now Adam's money. What a sleeze!!!!

It really was! Other soaps used to have them, but they have since been cancelled due to low viewers...cause they didn't write anything worth viewing!!!
But Y&R has got some good writers and they drop one of these on us every couple months. Seldom am I literally sitting on the edge of my seat or cheering but today I did both!

I really need to catch up on this show. I am not sure what time it comes on since I live in a different time zone. I know my cat misses the show as well. Patty is such a trouble maker and I am not sure how she got out this time. She needs help before she hurts anyone else. I had a feeling that Jack and Geneive would not end up married although I would have loved to see him married to Emily. I am sorry that Jack got shot at.
