Saw the Rpeviews New season of Survivor

Last night onthe TV Guide channel. At the moment, I am no long anxious to see it. They are so far away from where the show started and what it is all about! They make a point to show all the near naked women, half of them (in their interviews) said they are going to "lie, cheat and steal", "stab in the back and blind side"...it is just getting out of hand that that is what the editors emphasis. Then they had 4-5 of them saying they aren't going to divulge their "occupation", the wife of the NFL player, the lawyer, the little guy that said what he was, (he mumbled and I didn't catch the word) but then said "...next thing up to a vampire"..something about drinking blood....the woman police officer who sued the LAPD Swat and on it went!
And all they say was "this is a social game"...no it isn't JUST a social game! I get tired of that. At least it didn't USED to be a social game. It used to be a game of will power, strength, attitude, skill, talent, and those kinds of things. That's my second complaint of Survivor..first is that they need to cover up the women some, and second...take the socialism out of it.. or at least half of the socialism!!
What are your first thoughts about it? Although I am not anxious anymore to see it, I wlll tune in.
Oh, did you get that part, where the men vs. women and they were all grabbing what supplies they could from the truck, and while the women grabbed most if it, as they were grabbing from the truck, one of the guys was grabbing from them and at the end of the minute they had to do so....they had a pile of bananas and the men had it alL! Now that's what survivor USED to be about....thinking! That was pretty ingenious of that guy to do that! And how stupid are the women! Didn't even one of them notice that everytime they put something in the "pile" there was no "pile" there!
Guess we'll see. Seems like that is all Survivor is looking for anymore in the women contestants...bodies and no brains!

In older seasons castaways have bag packs so we can see them more fully clothed and only in swimsuits during challenges. But now they kep on using clothes on your back system, cos it forced contestants to strip down more cos having only 1 clothes will make them stink badly. I actually miss the time castaways have bag packs, cos we can actually see more of their personality with their outfits.
I hope the women wins the first 3 immunities, Why? it never happen before, I'm so sick of seeing women being voted off in the first 5 episodes. usually the women gets voted off early makes good TV, have interesting personalities and the women who reaches the merge are quiet and invisible under the radar girls.

I agree on both counts. THey used to be able to bring one luxury item, like a bible or journal or something like that. And yeah, I am tired of the women winning simply cause they rode on coattails and were the better of two evils...like in last season! I didn't even know her name until she was in the final 5 or 6! THe others that worked so much and so hard deserve to win, but that isn't what Survivor is about anymore!

the luxury items use to add color in the game, It is something that can be used for the social side of the game. Remember Rob Cesternino's Magic 8 ball or Colby's texas flag which is used as a tarp or Paschal's American flag which help his underdog tribe win an immunity challenge.
When women and men are separated, women are not afraid to be aggressive players, so I hope the aggressive women will make the merge.

See. that's what I mean...they bring a little something from home and use it on their shelter and it just seems to make the game more fun. Part of that person is there. THat was a nice additive to the game.
Aggressive women players? What you mean is "cat fight central"! That is what I mean about it being not survivor anymore. All they do is bicker, argue and fight. And yeah the women do it the most. I dont' like to watch them cat fight. I'd, for once, like to see the one that did the most physical work be the winner. I mean, look what all Ozzy did...and they all voted for a coat-tailer!
