valentines is here and counting. Love is spreading and gifts are flooding. Big boxes, small boxes, we dont care as long as its wrapped with love and care. Wedding rings of many shapes and sizes freshly baked out from the jewelry shop and cakes of hearts just pops up. Care bears, teddy bears with hugs and kisses anywhere. Hotel rooms are on promo and dating places is where you can find people you havent seen for many long times.
But what do you really want to receive this Valentines day?
As for me all i want to have on this Valentines day is You.

I am just grateful to have my husband. I know I won't be getting anything for Valentines day and that is okay with me.
We don't have the money for anything so I understand that.
I have my kids and my husband... =)

I don't really believe in Valentine's Day, because I think that it is just something that the shops have made a big deal out of so that they can get people to spend money that they can't really afford just for the pure sake of spending that money. I don't like to buy into things like that because I'm not the richest of girls in the world, and I know that I can't afford to be spending all that money on things like that. Even the price of simple things such as chocolates go through the roof, and there is no reason for this to be the case, so my partner and I are quite happy just to show each other how we feel every day of the year rather than just on the one day.

I hope my husband will surprise me with a fancy dine-in experience in a restaurant. I wish to experience something that I will cherish till the day I die. Like spending the day with my husband because we seldom get the chance to do it because of our busy schedule.

All I want this Valentine's day is a happier me. No boyfriend. No heartaches.
Just plain single and contented. :-) Still, I am hoping that someday, somehow, somewhere I will meet that special someone who's gonna make my world turn upside down. ;-P

I want to receive the usual things that girls like on Valentines Day. Some flowers and chocolates will be great. I am pretty picky with gifts, I know I is bad but for Valentines Day I want things to be simple a little generic. I am not picky in the sense that I will say to their faces that I hate their gifts, of course not, I would not do that because I know that at least they made an effort but I just really appreciate gifts that was well thought out and was really for you. I think the best occasion that you should go all out on gifts is during birthdays.
So is you are reading this (nudge nudge) just give me flowers and chocolates and I will be happy. And be extra sweet during that day ok?
