A dream where you have the same kind of events happen, sometimes alittle different but it's basically about the same kind of topic. I have had one that I dream at least once a year about. I think it is from when I was robbed in 1995. The person came in and took money and other stuff out of my purse, then left. He didn't know there was someone else ( me) in the house, it is kind of an odd turn of events where I was in the basement when it happened, but I heard it all. I thought he was my mom coming in at the time but come to find out someone went through my purse and took sum money, check book, and wallet. :( Now, at least once a year, I keep dreaming I loose my purse and have a panic attack because I have all my papers, credit cards, SS #, driver's license, etc. in there that I have to make sure I get taken care of and such. Do you think I've been traumatized by the stealing incident and this is the result of it?

Dreams are nothing but the hidden thoughts in our mind, because of the sad incident you had, you keep thinking about this and that recurrs as dreams, in 1986, just prior to marriage of my only daughter, i too was rubbed of gold, silver, cash, clothes worth 5 lakhs than. Best of luck. Professor

I think so too, the hidden thoughts in our minds. I have to start having some better thoughts as my dreams have not been overly pleasant lately.

I've had a few regarding a crowd of people that are just moving around, talking, their faces not being seen, but they are looking at me. I think that does symbolize the fact that there might be those in the shadows that might be biding their time, just waiting to do something with me. Or at least that is what it seems. Whether it would be good or bad or indifferent who knows. It is the air of mystery that makes the dream real. And there are a lot of dreams where I am remembering something that happened school, about a class, that I never ever took in my life. There are people that I know that are there. Or at least I seem to rather be the case. It is just weird, as I'm going to try and rack my brain. There are a lot of mish mashed oddness in my dreams, that are telling me weird things.

I have alot of wierd dreams too, last night I dreamt I was on a bus and with some facebook friends. They were all talking and such but ignoring me. I felt rather alone rather than with any friends, sigh. I guess thats how I've been feeling on FB lately anyways. :(

my recurring dream actually is about our old home/house. where i grew up everytime i dream i always see that place, sometimes our kitchen, our room, even our old cabinets! my.. i dont know why that is because i think sometimes its just not possible for me to be dreaming about it and what kind of meaning could it hold for me.. i haven't been there for years!

Maybe yes, it has something to do with what you have experienced before, maybe the incident stays in your sub-conscious mind thus you are dreaming of it once in a while...but its just my opinion. hehe Anyway, I myself also have some dreams that keeps on coming back specially when I was younger. I think its two different dreams but I have dreamed of them many times, and the dream is exactly the same and it seems so real that sometimes I wake up with tears...but now, after how many years, I don't dream any of it now.

That's good you don't have that dream where you wake up with tears in your eyes anymore. I have had a dream or two like that as well, but of course now I can't remember what exactly it was about, so I guess it wasn't all that important. But dreaming can have so many different meanings for many, it does bring into the sub concious mind that there might be things going on in the back of your mind at times. I do have other recurring dreams too but this one is always one that frightens me most.

But you know dreams are only the garbage that your brain picked up during the day or in any other time in the year so do not try to say that it mean something. The reason why you dreamed of loosing your purse is because you really had it on the brain, and was really worried about it.

Yes, to some degree but it's not like I worry about it from a day to day basis. There are times it doesn't come to me at all. Its not like I have thousands of dollars in it, I think it's the paperwork and stuff like that I'm more afraid of losing due to the fact people are out there wanting to steal one's identity, so that is the truly the scary part for me. :(
