I am just being nostalgic to some stuff we use to enjoy in the internet that is gone. Clam Anti Virus website- Clam use to be a website that scans and removes viruses from your computer without you installing an anti virus software. Anti-virus softwares are kinda annoying to me cos they slow my computer speed a lot of times. so when I found clam I was really happy. sadly Clam decided to change what makes them unique, from a Website that cans viruses and malwares out of your computer, Clam is now a software anti virus like Avira and AVG. Imeem- Imeem is like the audio version of youtube, I love imeem so much but when Myspace purchased it, they make it die. Better search engines- remember the times when search engines use to be reliable, now the google search results is surrounded by spams and fake links. Lurking messageboards- remember the times when you can enjoy a messageboard without joining them. now many messageboard doesnt allow lurkers anymore. Some of your favorite websites-I know that there use to be some websites out there that you enjoy visiting but sadly they were dead.

Some sites were free in the past and today they have started charging their members. I miss the time when all of my favourite sites were free. I recently returned to a social networking site that I have used in the past. I have been away from that site for a long time, but in the past when I was member everything was free and I found some nice friends from that site. I started a new profile and then I discovered that they have changed the rules. Today we aren't able to read our mail unless we upgrade our accounts. I don't want to do that and I have totally lost my interest in that site. You mentioned the messageboards that don't allow lurkers anymore. That is another thing that I find annoying. I would like to see what kind of discussions there are on a site before I decide if I want to join, but on many messageboards you can't do that, and you have to join just to read the discussions. Sometimes I sign up and discover I am not interested in the site anyway, and it would be so much easier if I was allowed to have look at site before I decide to join.
