Cable and satellite TV increase its price, even basic package

Okay, maybe it is time to searching for something cheap and not costing too much for casual or daily entertainment while at home. With the cable subscription, even the basic package just outrageous right now. We won't want those local channels plus some shopping channels to cost that much, almost to $40. It was a 30% jump. With Satellite TV, they are about to jack up the price with limited channels; plus you have to pay for whatever not working, and they have to send someone to fix it. I would definitely cancel those cable and satellite service, and maybe online hulu, or Amazon premium, even netflix would provide better deal.

Well with things like Netflix and Hulu, the face of television is changing. I know cable and satellite prices are off the wall. Everyone is looking for a new way to get free TV again. I remember when TV was actually free. Granted, you only had your local channels. And your network channels, but it was free. I think it is stupid to pay for something that we never paid for before. And I believe because of the internet, TV will be changing yet again.

In my country it's the opposite. There are more and more cable and satellite TV companies competing one another. They try to lower their monthly subscriptions to gain more customers.
