iPad2 &iTune

If I download iTune on my computer, when I connect my iPad to my laptop, will iTune on my IPad sync with the version on my computer. I used to have iTunes a long time ago for an iPod shuffle, still have an valid account (probably with music stored on it), currently do not have a version on my computer and I have not used iTunes on my iPad yet.
