As we grow older we can not do things as planned. We cannot make happen things we wished to be. With my 19 years of being a widow I used to celebrate my valentine day happily. When still so active at the real estate we used to have valentine parties. Our big bosses used to take us to Valentine treats in different expensive restaurants. When I rested at home from an active work at real estates , on Valentines Day my children used to treat me for dinner and stroll and shop a little. My children are all busy now with my eldest for her family and my two other children for their jobs. In the morning I planned to visit the tomb of my husband and brought some flowers. My eldest whom I expected to accompany my with my grandchildreb came late in the afternoon minus my grandkids in short we're not able to visit my hubby's grave. Instead we went to the mall and decided to wait for my other children to join us and treat us for dinner. While there we played bingo but my son texted us his having an overtime. My other daughter went directly at home and asked us to come home. At home we just watched TV and surfed the net while waiting for my son to come hme as he would be bringing the food. It came to be late at night already 11, 12 midnight according to my son he's on the way, oh my gosh it's 1 am then 2am comes my son with food. so at 2am we had eaten our dinner and chocolates as our hearts day celebration. I felt sad as I was not able to visit my husbands grave, am not happy eating my dinner at 2am but the day before and the morning the 14th I was able to greet my online friends. I'm a bit contented, we have a new Tv set and a newly installed internet. I just thing this is my best valentine present. How about you friends, did you have a happy valentine celebration?

You should be happy my friend because you still have with you your children and also us, your online friends. Life is changing as we get older. We have to be thankful for whatever it is that comes to us. Anyway, I wasn't able to celebrate valentine's day because I have a class from morning until in the evening. It turned out like an ordinary school day for me. Still, I am able to greet my friends and relatives.

Yes cearn, having children is more than enough, plus the friends including the online ones. That could make up a Happy Valentines...
