Potatoes have gotten a bad reputation with the popularity of low-carb diets. Potatoes are healthy and good for you because potatoes are low in fat and are a good source of vitamins and minerals. One medium potato has 153 calories so you have to keep that in mind if you are watching your weight. Potatoes are often served with high calorie and high fat toppings like butter, sour cream or gravy. To keep your potatoes low calorie and healthy, try serving baked potatoes with salsa or some broccoli and just a sprinkle of cheese on top.what do you think?
