Dilshan's Career best 160* goes in vain.....

Today Dilshan scored his career best score of 160* against India , this is the second time he is scoring 160 against India.
He score 160 from 165 balls with 11 fours and 3 sixes.
He played through out the innings and helped SL to put up a descent total of 320
But India batsmen found it more easier and scored 321 in just 36.4 overs which made Dilshan's century in vain.
He is now the 2nd top run getter in the series.

Ya even though Dilshan scored 160, it goes in vain as Indians scored more quickly than them..
today three centuries were scored in the match and virat's was the fastest.
if SL had won the match then Dilshan would have been the man of the match.
All these three centuries states that this was a good batting pitch..

Kohli's was really a special one.
I think Dilshan was a little slow.

i agree with you friend.realy dilsan played little slow. and his strike rate was under 100.
now a days in one day cricket format is most requarded thing is strike rate. so if you did not play with good strike rate then its will waste.
so really sad for dilsan. who did not play with good strike rate and his score was like waste. and beside kohli who played awesome with good strike rate. and his score was flick.

This guy has great temperament, i think Sehwag needs to learn from him.His effort was good although once again it resulted into loss like it happened at Motera.In my opinion SL got a bit relaxed after making this mamoth score and took India lightly in this match.320 was a match winning score at Hobart.

Yes, Dilshan has more temperament, but this temperament didn't helped them to win the match.
He should have scored at least 200 runs after playing 165 balls, we know his capability to hit the ball. He scored 160 runs in the past in just 124 balls, an innings like that was the needed one.
If Viru had played like Dishan then India would have returned to home....

Everyone say that sehwag should change his style, but i don't like him to change his approach to the game of cricket..
If sehwag tried to play like dilshan in the last match, we would not have got the quick start and we would have approached or ended in a miserable situation..
so sehwag should continue cricket in his own style, even though he is not picked for the Asia cup squad..
What is the use of Dilshan's controlled innings? It went in vain..
As Ramaswamy mentioned in the past he have scored his high score of same 160 in 124 balls that too against India, so he should play like that,Then only the team can win in present day cricket..

Yes, sehwag is having his style, and its his beauty.
Dilshan is well known for his aggressiveness , he should have played more aggressively

Dilshan played well in today's match and and he was playing i thought that now it is going to be very worst for Indian team but Virat Kohali and Gambhir also played very well and Dilshan's century has no meaning after the wining of Indian team but at first he terrified Indian team in big way and every Indian lose their hope because it is some what impossible to achieve this score.

Dishan is one of the best all rounder in Srilankan cricket.
He is an destructive opening batsmen who can bowl.

yea thats great!he score 160 from 165 balls dont you think its little slow? actual i want to talk about strike rate. 
.
but all credit goes to india specialy virat kohli who playd also his carrer best score and with a good strike rate..
dilasan is also a tallanted player. and now i want to srilanka will win this trophy because india already disqualyfy from the tournament. and i also find a great cricketer who scores also good inthis series it is chandimal.
