Same Thing, Every Evening - You?

Almost every evening, I have a coffee with something nice. I'll go have a shower and get into my jammies and dressing gown. We eventually put the babies (African Grey, Lovebird, Quail and Short Tailed Opossum) to bed, I have a bowl of cornflakes, we watch a little more TV and then head upstairs to bed, watch an episode of something online on the laptop and then I'll go to sleep while he play solitaire on his phone for 10-15 minutes. This sprung to mind as I'm heading over to Liverpool for the weekend and I'll miss my routine, our babies and my man sorely. Now it seems I'll be missing myLot as well, but I'll just have to get over all that lol. Do you have an evening ritual? How do you feel when it's disturbed?

I do have a ritual but on the weekends, I like to mix it up. During the week everything is scheduled and when I'm not working on the weekends, I like to just leave them on a whim. Normally I do the shower, the dinner, and then some TV or myLotting. I go to bed fairly early with my little dog and tell everyone I am going to study. I usually go to sleep shortly after I go in there though..lol.

I have to say, with this trip to the UK and my routine being thrown completely out of whack, there are some plus points and some bad ones. I don't know whether the fact that I slept 12 hours last night is one of the good points or not though lol

My evening ritual has been crazy lately. We usually have super and watch a program online or movie. I'm starting to change our ritual a little bit. I'm putting my daughter to be earlier than we usually do. Then I have time to straighten up around the house. Do dishes, and perhaps a load of laundry. After that my husband usually heads to bed and I do some work online. Then when my brain feels like I can't do anymore I go to bed. lol

We don't really have a routine in the evening. Especially with a three-month-old around, it's difficult to always keep a fixed routine at night. Our routine and schedule pretty much evolves around her needs and such.
