It was shown on Jessica Soho’s show, how a man could sing so beautifully in woman’s and a also man’s voice. And so with a lady singer in a band who could sing using a man’s voice so beautifully as well as her female voice. The man was made to sing a female song to a group of student without letting them see who is singing. Then when he was made to appear to them while singing it, the student were amazed. And they were doubly amazed when they saw the woman singing in a male’s voice also! Some people could really be gifted with such talents, like our 2nd season PGT winner, Marcelito Pomoy. I tried singing in a male’s voice, but I found it hard to do it like a real male voice. My throat itched trying it.

I was able to watched that episode of Jessica Soho show. I was also amazed by what the man and woman have shown. They have such an encompassing talent. They must use it very well and share it to people.

They are amazing indeed! Specially the woman! Very gifted Filipinos. I guess there are some more of same talents that can be tapped.

Yes, that's true my friend. There are a lot of talented Filipinos already. And thanks for some sites such as You Tube where you can show your talent and be noticed by some talent scouts.

I don't know if you have heard of our Beijing opera, in which there is a type of role we call "nan dan"(transliteration),namely representing a female role by male. They all sing with female voice- We call it falsetto,if don't tell you who they are,you are unlikely to think they are all men. Some people are born a singer with a good voice, however if they don't practise voicing assiduously ,they can't get ahead.

And it's not only constant practice that will help them, but taking good care of their vocal chords also. They should refrain from eating foods that could irritate their vocal chords .

I totally agree my friend. And it's one way of keeping healthy overall too.

Yes these people were really gifted with wonderful voices. Others are really successful in their singing career, hope they would value their blessings by giving back to the Lord thru sharing to the less fortunate or still singing at the church even though their already known singers and quite busy with their schedules...

Yes, that's true. It's one way on how singers can give back to the Lord their talents. One good example is Gary V.

I didn't see the episode but that could have been interesting to watch. This quickly reminds me of Dashboard Confessional's vocalist. He can reach a very high pitch and do it several times on a live concert. That dude can really sing. Plus, his voice really matched with their genre -- Emo. I've seldom heard of men having a woman's voice but I've never heard of a woman having a man's voice. I should've tuned in to GMA last night.

Yes, a woman doing a man's voice is unique indeed. You should have seen her. She's very good indeed. I think it was the other Saturday's episode. You can look at it in youtube i think.

I saw that episode too and I almost fell off my chair and can't help but laugh since that lady was freakingly good as her baritone. But I find the guy that was featured as more annoying since it's very identifiable that he's using falsetto. It would certainly be a good match if it were marcelino pomoy that partnered the girl, although it is very unlikely since he is with Channel 2.

So go you did saw that episode too, ybong. I do find the boy good, but still yes, Marcelito Pomoy is the best. But yes, that girl is really good doing the male voice. And i think it was James Ingram's song that she sang. I do agree that it would have been better if it was Pomoy who was partnered with the girl.

...that's why I think guys are more talented than us ladies when it comes to singing because they can heighten their pitch then there they go with the ladies' voice. So amusing. There are lots of videos in youtube and some were caught in malls trying the magic sing by singing duets and performing both male and female voices.

Well, i think it's more common that some men could sing in a female voice. But a woman belting out a song like a man is indeed unique. However, doing dual voice is a difficult one.
