I noticed we have great history and dominated this badminton in the past. When Rudi Hartono,Liem Swie King, susi susanti era, we were really proud of what they did. Now, seems badminton is no longer belong to us and those memory never come back. Even really hard to win back Thomas cup, not mention about Uber cup..and also seeing our player grab All England title is just a hope..I observed this badminton game is not really as popular as soccer and our children don't have idol in Badminton and has many on soccer. So they dream to become andik vermansyah, gonzales, Bachdim etc.. Even many facility like sports hall emerged every where on every district.. what do you think about this phenomena? How to bring back our glorious era in Badminton?

Lilyana Natsir / Tontowi Ahmad just win the mixed double in All England. I'm proud as an Indonesian but I'm sad because our quality is keep decreasing. In 1990s we have so many good player. In Men's single we have Alan Budikusuma, Haryanto Arbi, Joko Susanto, Taufik Hidayat, etc. And they are keep winning in a lot of tournaments. It's the same with the women's single. Susi Susanty and Mia Audina are awesome. Our doubles are also great. We hava Ricky/Rexy, Flandy/Enghian, etc. But now, we are rarely winning a tournament. Even a we can't win a gold series tournament. I mean badminton is the only sports we can have our glorious days. Now, maybe we can't get gold medal on 2012 Olympic. It's such a shame that a country with a lot of good player can't even win a tournament now.

i think since the several years ago, even in Rudi Hartono era, Soccer or football had become the famous sport.. It was the fact.. But if we are talking about achievement, Badminton is better than soccer.. Rudi Hartono, Lim Swie King,Alan Budi Kusuma, Ardi b Wiranata, Djoko Supriyanto, taufik hidayat, Hendrawan... Susi susanti, Mia Audina, and so on
