Are You a Carrier?

I feel very strongly that if there is any chance at all that any part of my body may some day be life saving or life changing to another human being when it is no longer of any use to me, then they should have it. How about you? How do you feel about organ donation? Do you carry a donor card?

I do support organ donation. If there is life that I can sustain, that might actually end up being my purpose. The only time I have thought about not wanting to donate was when there was a face involved. Someone had got a face transplant and it kind of creeped me out thinking of it. I am ok with it now..after researching it I saw that it's not like they look anything like the person that donated. Bone structure and stuff differ.

Yeah initially that bothered me somewhat, but with the differing bone structure etc. it wouldn't be too creepy I guess. It would be more so if they also received your eyes, now that would be too weird. At the same time, if they're not going to be near your family and friends and it helps them I suppose why not.
