6. Videogeezer (624) | 4 years ago | Why would I be scared of something that is not real? I am sure it is possible to drink blood everyday, but don't worry it is not a normal thing.

8. Noot54 (4433) | 4 years ago | There was a Transylvanian nobleman who helped defeat Saracen invaders into Europe. His name was Vlad Dracul and he used to impale defeated enemies on sharpened poles. His name was Vlad The Impaler and his bloodthirsty exploits may have led him to being linked with the legends of blood-drinking vampires!

marius_stp (3232) | 3 years ago | no, i don't think that it was real, but the vampire/dracula caracter was inspired by Vlad Tepes, a leader from Romania, witch was very cruel. look what i've found on wikipedia.org: "Historical places connected to Vlad Tepes are publicised under a Dracula theme catering largely, but not entirely, to foreign markets. Bran Castle, which has only a very tangential connection with the historical Vlad Tepes, now exaggerates that connection and promotes itself as "Dracula's Castle". A dungeon-themed disco, catering to a mostly Romanian crowd and located in the basement of a former inn immediately adjacent to the Curtea Veche ("Old Court") — one time site of Vlad Tepes's castle in Bucharest — calls itself by the English-language name "Impaler". More than anything else, Vlad III Tepes is known for his exceeding cruelty. Impalement was Tepes's preferred method of torture and execution. His method of torture was a horse attached to each of the victim's legs as a sharpened stake was gradually forced into the body. The end of the stake was usually oiled, and care was taken that the stake not be too sharp; else the victim might die too rapidly from shock. Normally the stake was inserted into the body through the anus and was often forced through the body until it emerged from the mouth. However, there were many instances where victims were impaled through other bodily orifices or through the abdomen or chest. Infants were sometimes impaled on the stake forced through their mother's chests. The records indicate that victims were sometimes impaled so that they hung upside down on the stake. As expected, death by impalement was slow and painful. Victims sometimes endured for hours or days. Vlad often had the stakes arranged in various geometric patterns. The most common pattern was a ring of concentric circles in the outskirts of a city that constituted his target. The height of the spear indicated the rank of the victim. The corpses were often left decaying for months. Thousands were often impaled at a single time. 10,000 were impaled in the Transylvanian city of Sibiu (where Vlad the Impaler had once lived) in 1460. The previous year, on Saint Bartholomew's Day (in August), Vlad the Impaler had 30,000 of the merchants and officials of the Transylvanian city of Brasov that were breaking his authority impaled. One of the most famous woodcuts of the period shows Vlad the Impaler feasting amongst a forest of stakes and their grisly burdens outside Brasov, while a nearby executioner cuts apart other victims."
so the blood sucking vampire is not real, but a cruel prince of Romania was the inspiration for bram stockers story. nice, right? good luck and have a nice day on mylot!

9. rainbow (3928) | 4 years ago | I am not scared of vampires as I have never been threatened by one. I'm sure if you wanted to drink blood you could but eating a balanced diet woud then depend on the lifestyle of your prey - you could catch something or get malnourished. I am curious as to whether you loose weight if you are turned because I could do with loosing a few pounds.
