I think summer would be boring if i have nothing to do. First of all, i want to earn this summer so that i will have earnings on the next school year but i don't know how. I am planning to accept summer part time jobs but no offers and in addition, in pursuing online earnings, it is a good substitute but i can only earn very little amount compared to part time jobs. In addition, the hotness of the climate make it more boring making me want to stay in the bathroom. :) haha.

hi erjnsimon. getting a summer job is your best bet to earn some cash this summer. summer jobs are dime a dozen nowadays. you can use the internet to look for possible jobs that fit your qualifications. you have tons of work to choose from. you can go the traditional route of working for fast food chains. you can also opt to check the summer job postings for government agencies. if you have good command of the english language and like chatting with people and don't mind working the graveyard shift, perhaps you can try to apply in the various call centers around the city. whatever, job you decide to take this summer, good luck and do keep us posted. cheers!!!

I agree with you with a lot of stars above my head, that summer would be boring if we have no challenging task to do. I appreciate and admire you truly for having the desire to be part of a part-time job. There are a lot that you can do, even if there are no offers from business companies. You can do something like selling stuffs, doing some chores for your relatives that wanted something to be done. You can sell ice cream to keep people stay cool. Online programs are also good. You can also be part of a health and wealth company like DXN INternational. What do you say?

Yep, if you don't do anything during the summer break, it would really be boring since you've been used to being a bit busy studying and stuff before that. Getting a summer job is like hitting two birds with one stone (sorry for the cliche). You not only rid yourself of boredom, you earn money as well. Problem is summer jobs aren't that readily available nowadays unless you do apprenticeships (which pays only for allowances) or you do sales (that pays for commissions but your income potential is bigger) Why not stick to online earnings and have more time to enjoy your summer break. You need to recharge yourself anyway.

Just try applying for all types of job that you enjoy and are eligible for and is legal. Don't bother with the failure at the beginning. Just keep trying and you will find one at the end and will learn a lot from your job. Good luck!

Looking for a summer job is a good idea. If you are planning to do something other than earning online, you should start looking for jobs early, a month or two before the school ends. There might be a lot of students looking for a job after the exams, so it's good to have one fixed in time.

Getting a summer job is a good idea. You won't be bored and at the same time you get to earn as well. Why not try working in a fast food chain or something?

Hey erjnsimon, I am too looking for part time job to supplement my income, it has to be flexible because I don't like supervision. What about online jobs, you can make hundred dollars a month? I am going to see what other mylotters comment on this discussion. Thanks for starting this discussion.

I too want to have a part time job aside from online jobs. I want it to be flexible but I think it's hard to search for jobs like that. Thank you for this discussion and I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Since you like to stay in the bathroom you might want to try part time job at fitnes center (LA fitness/ Bali Total fitness etc) therefore you can go for swimming or sauna everyday when you done with your shift. Good Luck!
