The Top 8 is now on..

I actually missed the Jessica and Josh duet cause I had to leave the room for something, but then I came back they are all like that was the best performance, etc etc. so I guess they did a good job. I don;t always go by what the judges say though as I don't agree with them all the time. I think they were right on some of the performances last night but not all. No matter what Phillip Phillips does they never critique him and he is not that good. I hated the way he did the song for two weeks in a row now and he will not give that guitar up for nothing when he does solo. They must have had to remove it with a crowbar when he did the duet with Elise! He was walking around really wierd "dancing" with her, too. He looked totally awkward.he reminds me somewhat of a Taylor Hicks. he will probably win like him and then go nowhere afterward! As for the other performances, Colton proved he can sing anything, even the phone book! I just love him. Wow, I love his hair color change too and no one bothered to mention it much. :( And no ones ever stand up for him, wither despite giving him praises. Why is that?? The way Elise and Phillip and DeAndre sing is like the worst I have heard and all they do is try to say how great they are. Bull. The judges said Hollie was all over the place. Really judges??? Her singing surpassed Elise's by far! I hope she won't be going home tonight. I want DeAndre to go. Jessica wasn't as good as they said either, she had some pitch issues and the fact that Joshua got two standing ovations is beyond me. i wonder who will get the SAVE though?? I bet they use it on someone like Jacob or Skylar.
