I'm glad my husband is not a basketball fan

I never enjoyed watching basketball on TV. When I was younger, I always had to bear with my father and brother who would reign the living room if its basketball time. They would not let me take a peek at my favorite variety show or soap opera in the other channel. I'm just glad my husband is not a hard core basketball fan. He likes boxing which is just very ocassional and doesn't overlap with my tv time.

This is true to many families who have a male resident who loves basketball. Lucky for me before, I grow up watching basketball games and my mom, dad and brother all loves to watch those games. Now that I'm married, my basketball time and my wife's favorites usually overlaps. This way, we keep on changing the channel just to serve both our wants.

So, your wife doesn't enjoy basketball as much as your mom. My grandmother is a very big fan of basketball, too. And, it looks kinda weird to see an old lady at her 70's watching and cheering for her favorite teams.
