well my officemate here was browsing pictures of her friend's wedding and she was mentioning her sister as part of the entourage.. now that ticked something in me, i was never part of some entourage lol.. hmmmm but wait i was but that was my first cousin's wedding i was one of the bride's maid and i was so young back then, i guess that was in high school and i really didn't enjoy any of it as i was feeling gothic that time! And after that i was never part of it..not even on my own wedding now i feel a lot sillier and weirder

I too have been a bridesmaid to my sister next to me. I was already working then, and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I really did my part of assisting my sister when she signed the contract , hold the trail of her gown when she stood up etc. But that was the first and the last though.

Thanks for the BR jazel. Well, you have at least experienced to be one of the entourage. And finally, the bride .

It's actually a different story with me, I wasn't part of an entourage when I was in college. I'd say, I'm not at all pretty at that time hehehhehe. But now that I'm working, my friends always asked me to be part of the entourage, I guess I look better in pictures now more than anything.

Okay, I do not understand. How were you not a part of the entourage at your own wedding? You were the bride. The whole thing was about you. I am also wondering if this is a custom I do not know, or if this is the way that you refer to "the bridal party" where you live. "The bridal party" as a term refers to the bride and all of her attendants, maid/matron of honor, bridesmaids, flower girls, etc. Maybe even the candle lighter. It is an honor to be invited to stand up with a friend when they get married.

Oh, don't ever felt that way my dear I don't want to be a part of the entourage- and I prefer to be at the backstage always :p Not actually at the backstage- I want to take part on other things. I want to be an organizer- that's more fun for me. Thanks for this reminder my dear, I'll be hosting a party tomorrow

It was a good think you experienced being a bride's maid even when you were still young. Unlike me, I have never experienced it ever in my entire life being part of a wedding entourage. I am just so shy to accept any invitation if there were any. Maybe I can only experience this on my wedding day. That is the only time I will never be too shy to walk down the isle.

Me too. I haven't been part of an entourage really. I was always a bride's maid way back during my highschool and college years. But nowadays, I have my friends and my relatives who got married, I was never included in the entourage. I guess I'm still too very young or not ready to be part of it. But perhaps, someday I will maybe. I'm keeping my hopes up. :)

Feeling's mutual. Haha Atleast you'd been part of a wedding. Me, never. In my entire life, I was never been part of the wedding ceremony, just a plain guest. Never experienced walking at the isle of going to the altar. Well, I experienced walking like that but for picture taking only. lol
