For me this season is done and I know for a fact that Lebron James is going to take his third MVP award this year. Kevin Durant is just right behind him but I don't think they are going to give it to him because Lebron has carried the Miami Heat on his back almost every game I think Lebron James deserves it more than Durant. And Durant also shares points with Westbrook so there is really less chance for KD to get the award in my opinion.

I agree with you. James might get the MVP award this season. The closest competitor is Durant but I think James is still better than him. Comparing both players, James is an all-around player while Durant is just a scoring machine. Offensive wise, both players are close but defensively, James is way far better than Durant. Plus, James gets a lot more assists than Durant. Another player closest to them is Bryant but looking at the stats, his season averages is still weaker compared to James. D. Rose could have been a great match-up if he just stayed healthy season long.

I have a point there you know but don't you think the NBA now sees the game as not being focused on one person. For me I don't believe James would win it because I don't see the Heat getting to the conference finals because their team is mostly focused on both James and Wade, so what happens if one of them gets injured?
Moreso, I think you don't see the fact that James is not a team player although he has been a big factor to the team this year which has also influence players like Bosh to step up his game, and leading to Bosh, James and Wade being called the big 3.
James is a single player and falls out when the game starts getting tough, he starts getting physical and upset, he also plays the game for himself, to fulfill all righteousness that he is a better player than the game itself.
For me I it not about you carrying your team or playing for yourself and your team, its playing with your team mates and achieving the teams purpose of playing, and when I judge that I see Durant ahead of him in so many facades, Oklahoma Thunder tops the west in overall stats, being ahead of teams like Lakers, Clippers who had a lovely start and Spurs who are just inching forward day after day, then I see no reason why Thunder isn't in their conference finals and maybe the Play-offs finals, they are my number pick to win the season if they continue like this.
