Time and energy put to better use

I want to spend my time and energy on people who are my friends and my family plus my fiancee. I am not going to let smooth talking losers and those who feel the need to cheat, make negative comments about people that they do not know. There are people who are positive for everyone and those who are not good for anyone! Why waste time on people that my mom calls emotional vampires? Do you think that people who want only one thing really cares about you? No. There are people who do care about you and those who never will. Time and energy and your love is better spent on those who care about you and do not want any harm happen to you. Guys who cheat and those who do nothing but take time away from you and take energy away are not good to be around. Those who drain your energy only cares about themselves. Why deal with those who do not have good intentions toward you at all?

I have been trying to do this as well but it is hard and the drama people tend to follow when it comes to forums or developing any kind of friendship. Hope you have better luck that I have!

sometimes i think that we want the drama in our lives and we try to bring in it subconsciously. you are right, the more people you know, is the more you are going to run up on someone who wants drama.

i agree. now, it's kind of like i am living like a recluse, but i am just sticking to my family and friends that i don't need one of my hands to count. this is the way i want it. people in general can be very draining. i don't feel like casting my pearls to swine.

Yes, it is good energy. Those who are ALWAYS negative, it would be better to ignore them or teach them.
