Hey Christians, have you ever had an expereince like this?

Normally I don't tell complete strangers my dreams, or events that have happened without getting to know them a little better. However, I feel a bit compelled to mention my experience.
I suppose in a way I am confused between the actual reality of it having actually occurred versus the probability of it being a dream. Now usually when I have a dream about something, I know it's a dream because of the varying factors that are always experienced in them. For example, in all of my dreams I was always someplace else, wore different clothes, etc.
However, a recent one several days ago just makes me ponder over the experience. Some background information though. I had been awake and on the computer, browsing facebook, while fighting the desire for sleep. However, I soon grew bored without anyone to talk to and I got ready for bed. I changed into a pair of gym shorts and a I Love Chicago t-shirt. Keisha, my shepherd mix was laying on the floor, already fast asleep, while Baby and Shadow Jr, both lab mixes were elsewhere in the house, same with all three cats.
The moment I laid down though I was hit with a toothache. Now I am prone to toothaches because my teeth aren't in good shape. This has caused me a lot of unbearable pain and agitation. Having been diagnosed with mono in the same week it wasn't something I needed. So I took two pain killers and brushed my teeth quickly in the hopes the pain would go away so I could sleep.
I laid down and settled into bed to sleep. I recall my spirit was crying out to Jesus for some reason, probably because of the pain and I think I might have dozed off, then woke up at some point.
And that was when I discovered my head in His lap. His hand stroked my hair and His fingers lightly touched my lips. I didn't speak a word, but completely relaxed while quickly noting that everything in the bedroom was the same, including where Keisha slept and the clothes I had worn to bed. The room had been dark when I had gone to bed, but when He was there, there was a gentle warm light that wasn't too bright, but rather enabled me to still see everything clearly.
I can vividly recall the color of His skin: Darker than mine, but not very brown either. He had dark brown hair that looked almost black that rested to His shoulders. It looked a bit wavy too. He also had brown eyes. I always thought they'd be blue. He also wore an off white robe that looked a bit faded and old. Well, not old looking but it's the best description I can give of it.
Now normally when someone is in my room like that, even in dreams, I have the tendency to stiffen or freak out, or the oddest thing ends up happening. Plus Keisha is very protective. Yet, I wasn't freaking out and I did not think of anything bad or hateful. And Keisha? She just slept. As for me, I was incredibly relaxed. Even the pain of my tooth seemed meaningless as I lied upon His lap and closed my eyes.
When I opened them again, having thought I'd fallen asleep, I found myself instantly wondering where did He go? And then followed by: Had He really been there? Was it just a dream? Why had it seemed so real? Why do I long for Him to return for me to see Him again?
Now the pain of tooth was still there, but I took another painkiller (by the way, the painkillers were aleve) and settled back into sleep. When I woke up hours later, I felt incredibly peaceful. Normally every day, I worry about something and am always either on the go or just too lazy to get motivated. But that day, nothing bothered me. Even my teeth didn't bother me much.
And today, I still find myself looking at the spot on my bed, questioning the experience and yearning for another one like it. I find myself asking was He really there? Or was it just a dream?
Despite my inquisitive questioning, be it real or just a dream I long to experience Him again. So again, fellow Christians, I ask have you ever experienced something like this before? And if so, were you able to figure out the meaning behind it, if there was one?

I haven't experienced anything like that, Firestorm0122. However, I find it interesting and I also think that your question, 'Was he really there or was it just a dream?' a moot point, since, for you, he was there. What does it matter if it was a dream, or an awake moment? The reality was the same.
