3-year old AMBER and ANGIELINE, 4, were reported abducted and missing among a group of other kids in a parked jeepney in Meycauayan, Bulacan. This senseless kidnapping of innocent victims to include those that happened in the recent past indicate that there's something wrong in our human resource. What could the reason or reasons be?

I saw this yesterday to- they looked like they were sisters- still so young.. There could be a lot of reasons why people kidnap kids... They could sell them to those who want children, harvest their organ- I sure hope not..or make them beg for money.. I hope they are found and the culprits caught.

I also think the same reasons as to why they would kidnap those kids. It's really disgusting that other people would do this, just to be able to have money. There ought to be a task force that should really focus in tracking down these guys.

Indeed they were relatives. We could speculate only on what the criminals will do on them. Police are on hot pursuit of the abductors, after recovering Amber and Angieline.

The kids said (they were interviewed about what the kidnappers made them do) they were made to go to houses and beg for money. At least it was just thta- good thing they weren't sold.

Maybe we should be more vigilant with regards to human trafficking and illegal organ transplants or donors. As I always say " i'm not anti-poor in our country" but with this threat or menace, I just can't understand how people of informal settlements (squatters) still manage to let their kids roam around begging and letting them pick scraps for a living, it's simply incomprehensible

Very keen observation. The problem could be minimized with the total cooperation of all in the community: parents, relatives, neighbors, police, barangay officials and residents, etc.

This incident has caused us to be worried yesterday and we texted my sister and law and advised my nieces never to go with people a woman, or other child they do not know. Its scary how these happens nowadays. People are really out there to get kids - probably for syndicates, to let the kids beg for money, or worst, sell the kids.. its clearly part or an attempt for human trafficking. Im glad though that this morning it was confirmed that the kids have been found. they were abandoned on different places. thank God! maybe due to the press always putting the kids on the tv - the kidnapper just had to give up so they will not be associated with the kidnapping.

Let's thank God, the good Samaritan and the police for the return of 3-year old Amber and Angieline, 4. Truly- the incident is a wake-up call for parents who are sometimes relax in their responsibilities toward the care of their youngs.

Amber and Angieline were already recovered by authorities safe and unharmed. They were abandoned by the abductor and now returned to the arms of their parents.

Seems like we can never trust our authorities to safeguard our family. So, it's best that we take extra care and watch our own back. I would always remind my kid to never go out of the house without an adult, and never to open the door to a stranger. You just can't trust anyone, even your next door neighbor. I would also remind her nanny never to let her out of her sight and not to get in to neighbors' houses, even for the purpose of allowing my daughter to play with the neighbor's kid(s). We have to be vigilant, nowadays.

You're indeed extra careful. And letting God help in the upkeep of kids helps.
