Little Girls' Stage Moms in Action

In one of our local variety shows, there's a pageant for little girls, 6years old and below. The contest is called, "Little Miss Philippines". They have a quick question and answer portion, and a showcase of talents. During the talent portion, the kids would either sing, dance, declame or act. And, the camera would switch focus from the kid to the moms who are just right in front of their daughters and are also either singing, dancing, declaming or acting. They are guiding their kids throughout the talent show, giving support and encouragement. It's fun to look at them do all those stunts to help their kids. It's not easy for kids to be in front of a huge audience, so it really is a big boost to see their mom's support all the way. I have a 3yr old daughter and she enjoys watching these girls on the show. But, when I ask her if she wants to join, she would immediately give me a big "NO." Well, if she will change her mind, I wouldn't mind being on the show dancing or singing with her. I'm surely going to be a stage mom, too.
