What is the name of your business? What are the factors you considered before you come up with the final name of your business? As of now, I am thinking of a good title for the business of my boyfriend. His business is on halogens and bulbs. I have already 4 business title for him and I don't know which to choose on those four. After we decided about its title, I am going to work for its logo. How about you? What are your experiences when it comes about the name of your business?

My uncle has a ice cream shop. He has a good facilities in it including ll the facilities like good seating, good ice creams and an AC too. He include such facilities becuase he believe that he can attract good customers in it. He also believes that name of the shop name of the shop also attract people. So he was in a search of a catchy name. So I suggested him the name Ice berg and he though that it is good and he made it as his name of the shop. I am really happy about it because it was my suggestion

I never owned a business yet, but I'm aware that in any business the business name has a lot to do with the success of that particular business. When I look for online business to join, I found that there are certain names that attracts me and some that kept me away from joining, so I'm convinced that choosing the right business names are important. And I think for one, the name should be something that can easily remind you of what product you're selling, and another factor may be that the name should sound attractive. One example of an online business that didn't attract me simply because it's name is not attractive to me is 'Referaler' and somehow the idea of getting referrals for you is good, I was turned off by it's title somehow, and I thought to myself they could find a better name for it. Anyway, maybe I'm alone in this presumption of the unattractiveness of this business name and I do hope the owner of this business does not attack me. Anyway, I like thewonderboy's Ice berg name for ice cream shop, Ice berg is really catchy and attractive...which made me want to eat ice cream now that its so hot at 37 degrees...hooooh!

Well, I love ice cream too and Ice Berg is really a catchy name for an ice cream's business. It sounds that you will really chill and in this kind of weather which is very hot, I will really go to a place that will refresh me.

I'm making and selling beadworks online. I've always done it since high school and it has been my bred and butter for me personally. "Burloloy", a slang for accesories in Filipino wasn't been that popular until I change it to "Kiao- Kiao". My former boss in a clothing shop always share this Chinese slang to me. It means "too much accesories". Then it became catchy online as I put up my accessory business and keychains online ^_^-)

It is unique and base from my experience, I remember unique names easily. Kiao Kiao sounds cute and I prefer it rather than burloloy which seems typical.

I had an online clothing business a few years back. I called it sistazavenue, because the items were mainly for women, and it was common for online sellers and buyers to call each other "sis". I wish I could reinstate it sooner. I had to stop that time when I got too busy with work. I really enjoyed it.
